My name is Chase, and I am the owner and sole provider of Carew Childcare, a licensed home daycare in Alliston. I understand that choosing childcare is an important decision.

I have been working in the childcare field since 2013 and am trained in Montessori Infant and Toddler Education. I am also currently completing my Early Childhood Education Diploma through Fleming College via Online Learning. My experience and education help guide my approach to providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment where children can learn, grow, and feel supported.

As the only provider at Carew Childcare, I offer consistent and personalized care each day. This allows me to build strong, trusting relationships with each child and family while creating a calm, familiar, and welcoming home daycare environment.

I am CPR and First Aid trained and have completed a clean Police Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Screening, and Child Welfare Clearance through the local Children’s Aid Society. Families can feel confident knowing that safety, professionalism, and quality care are central to Carew Childcare.

My goal is to provide a warm and engaging environment where children feel safe, respected, valued, and encouraged to explore the world around them.

Ratios & Licensing

Carew Childcare is licensed with the Ministry of Education. The daycare is overseen by Hopscotch Home Daycare Agency. Licensed home daycares MUST follow the following ratios set out by the Ministry.

Maximum number of children allowed - 6

Three children can be under the age of two years old. The rest have to be 2 years old or older.

Who is Hopscotch & what is their role?

To be a licensed home daycare in Ontario you must be hired by an agency. Christine Lindsay is who owns & runs Hopscotch. She handles all parent paperwork, fees etc. She comes out to the house once and month to do a monthly visit.

Hours & Days of Care

Carew Childcare is open Monday - Friday. Hours of care are between the hours of 7 am - 5 pm.

Extended after hours care or weekend care is not available.

I am closed on the following Statutory Holidays:

  • New Years Day

  • Family Day (Generally the 3rd Monday of Feb)

  • Good Friday

  • Victoria Day

  • Canada Day

  • Labour Day

  • Thanksgiving Monday

  • Christmas Day & Boxing Day
