Welcome to Carew Childcare. Carew Childcare is a licensed home daycare in Alliston, Ontario.

Carew Childcare is overseen by Hopscotch Home Daycare Agency. Carew Childcare offers a structured, safe home environment for children 6 weeks - 4 years old.

Our day includes outdoor play, planned activities based on the children’s interests, home cooked meals, rest time & individualized attention to help support each child Learn. Grow & Belong.

Our Day

Morning drop off is from 7 am - 8:30 am. Please have your child dropped off no later than 8:30 am.

7 am - 8:30 am Morning drop offs, free choice of play

8:30 am - 9 am Breakfast

9 am - 10:45 am Outdoor Play (Weather dependant)

10:45 am - 11:15 am Planned activity

11:15 am - 11:30 am Lunch prep (Activities in the kitchen)

11:30 am - 12 pm Lunch

Please no pick ups during nap time unless previously arranged in advance.

12 pm - 12:30 pm Nap time prep

12:30 pm - 2:30pm Afternoon Nap

2:30 pm - 3 pm Kids start waking up

3 pm - 3:30 pm Snack

3:30 pm - 5 pm Outdoor Play / Pick up

Securing a Space at Carew Childcare.

The Process

Finding quality & affordable childcare is hard, stressful and overwhelming. This is why I’ve put this mini guide together. In hopes of educating parents about the types of childcare available in hopes that it helps.

Unfortunately my spaces fill up very quickly. But please don’t let that get you down. The good news is the sooner you reach out the higher chance you are to get a space.

Spaces are based on a few key factors.

Age of the child (Licensed childcare must stay within certain ratios)
When you need care
Hours of care needed
Type of care needed (Full time or part time)

Step Two

Send us an email to carewchildcare@gmail.com about inquiring about a space. In your email please include the following.

Age of your child

When you need care

Hours of care needed

Type of care (Full time or part time)

Emails are responded to within 48 hours.

Step Three

Schedule an interview to see the daycare space & ask any questions.

After interviews I ask that families let me know within 1 week of their interview date if they’d like to move forward or not.

Step Four

I will connect you with Christine. She is who owns Hopscotch Home Daycare Agency. That is the agency that licenses Carew Childcare. You can find more info about the agency below.

Christine handles all enrolment paperwork & childcare fees.
